The Workplace Gender Equality Agency is an Australian Government statutory agency created by the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012. The Agency is charged with promoting and improving gender equality in Australian workplaces. Each year WGEA compiles a data set on metrics such as the gender pay gap, board representation and women in management, and the number of companies that are analysing and reporting on these measures. There’s a lot of data! So we were tasked with creating a set of videos featuring their CEO Libby Lyons talking through the key indices. This is an important discussion to have, and the videos have been picked up by major media organisations and run extensively, helping WGEA get maximum impact for their reporting. They’re also used in WGEA social media, on their website and at events and presentations.
